AI strategy & governance

Most businesses already have AI in the building. They just don't know where, who is using it, or what is being put into it. We give you the whole picture, an independent assessment of the AI tools and the guardrails that turn their use into something management can stand behind.

A clear direction for AI before you invest.

Sound familiar?

Nobody knows how much AI is already in use

Employees have found the AI tools on their own, and nobody has agreed how best to use them or what data may go into them.

Ten ideas and plenty of AI hype

Everyone has a suggestion, and there is no agreement on which of them is actually worth the money to start on.

The board's questions can't be answered

They ask about accountability, documentation and AI compliance, and the answer ends up being a guess.

What we help with

Mapping how AI is used

Where AI is already being used in your business, by whom and with what data. It is almost always in more places than management expects.

A prioritised list

Use cases assessed for value and for risk, so you can say no to most of them and yes to the two or three that make a difference.

Choosing AI tools

An independent assessment of the general-purpose tools and the ones built for your industry, held up against the work they are meant for. So you choose on the basis of your tasks, not the vendor who called first.

Policy, roles and documentation

Written guidelines for what may be used for what, who signs it off, and what never goes into a prompt. Plus what AI compliance requires you to be able to show: classification, accountability and a log that is actually kept.

What you get

A basis for decisions that management can stand behind: the AI tools you should use, the guardrails around them, and a plan for what to do first.

Afterwards you can say what you use AI for, why that in particular, and who signed it off. That is the whole difference between an experiment and a decision.

Start here

AI assessment

A bounded engagement that ends with a recommendation to management: where to start, with which AI tools and within which guardrails. No long analysis phases, and nothing that can only be judged at the end.

  1. Conversations

We talk both to the people who do the work and to those who make the decisions. They each see their own part of the picture, and that is often where the real need shows itself.

  2. Evaluation

Every opportunity and every AI tool is given a value and a risk. We put numbers on what can be counted, and are honest about the rest.

  3. Decision paper

A paper management can base a decision on: where you start, with which AI tools and within which guardrails. A well-founded answer to what your AI strategy is.

Common questions

How long does it take?

A few weeks, not quarters. It depends mostly on how quickly we can get hold of the right people inside your business.

Do we need an AI strategy when there are thirty of us?

You need an answer to what may be used for what. Whether that takes two pages or twenty depends on your industry and your customers, not on your size.

What if we find out that AI isn't the answer?

Then that is a result too, and a cheap one. We earn nothing from recommending a project you don't need.
